LIN (Local Interconnect Network) bus A low-cost serial communication network for applications that do not require excessive network bandwidth, performance, or fault tolerance.

Based on the 100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1 Development Technology Alliance standards, Lei Mo Electronics has designed special protection components to protect the bus from ESD and other transient damage. For example, ESD PESD2ETH100-T is placed near the RJ45 connector. When high ESD current is introduced, the current is routed to GND, protecting the back-end PCB, PHY, and other components.
