Overview of the Plan
Leiditech DC48V with Overcurrent Protection - Differential Common Mode Surge Protection Solution is designed for 48V safety special low voltage (SELV, ≤ 60V) systems. It is widely applicable in industrial automation (motor drives, industrial robots), transportation infrastructure (railway signal systems, charging piles), security systems, energy storage systems, high-end lighting, medical equipment, and new energy fields. The solution integrates multiple protective mechanisms such as ESD static protection, surge protection, short circuit overcurrent protection, and EMI/EMC suppression. It complies with IEC 61000-4-2/4-5, EN 61000-4-2/4-5, GB/T 17626.2/5 standards, and can withstand 4KV/2KA lightning surge impact, ensuring stable circuit operation and equipment safety.
The core feature of the Lei Mou plan
1. Multi-level collaborative protection architecture:
Leiditech adopts a three-level design of "primary MOV surge discharge (4.5kA~6kA) + intermediate differential-mode inductor decoupling + secondary TVS precise clamping" to optimize the surge response timing, achieving a balance between high protection capability and low clamping voltage, and being compatible with various circuit designs.
2. Overcurrent / Short-circuit dual protection mechanism:
After the MOV, a self-recovery fuse (PTC) is connected in series. It offers multiple specifications ranging from 0.75A to 5A. This design not only ensures overcurrent protection for the load but also can quickly cut off the circuit in case of abnormal failure of the TVS, thus preventing circuit damage.。
3. Total protection against common-mode interference in all directions:
Common-mode protection: Connect the positive and negative power supply terminals together with a high-current fast-acting MOV to quickly dissipate the common-mode surge energy.
Common mode protection: A ceramic gas discharge tube (GDT) is connected in parallel between GND and PE to provide a common mode surge discharge path. The selection range (90V to 800V) enables it to meet different insulation withstand voltage test requirements.
4. Flexible component selection and adaptation:
Based on the full range of protection devices (MOV/TVS/PTC/GDT) from Lebao, customized combinations of components can be made according to the test levels of different scenarios such as communication, industrial, and automotive electronics (such as 4KV/2KA surge, ±15kV static electricity), to meet the differentiated protection requirements.
