1、Ultra-small size, freeing up precious space on the PCB

The 0201 series ESD protection devices of Leiditech Electronic adopt the industry-leading chip-level packaging process. The overall size is only 0.6mm × 0.3mm × 0.3mm, and the area is only one-third of the traditional 0402 (1mm*0.5mm) packaging (0.18mm²vs 0.5mm²). This size can be directly mounted on the Type-C interface of TWS earphone charging cases, the edge of smartwatch motherboards and other space-constrained areas. Without sacrificing protective performance, it saves more than 50% of the PCB layout space and leaves more design margin for antennas, batteries or other functional modules.

2、Ultra-low capacitance ensures zero distortion of high-speed signals

For applications that are highly sensitive to signal integrity, such as Bluetooth 5.3, heart rate sensing, and blood oxygen detection, Leiditech offers two types of low-capacitance ESD protection paths:

• ULC Series: The lowest parasitic capacitance is only 0.26pF (@1MHz), suitable for medium and high-speed signal lines such as Bluetooth antennas and USB 3.0, ensuring stable transmission rate and extremely low bit error rate;
• ESD series (such as ESD0521C): Parasitic capacitance as low as 5pF (typical value), leakage current ≤0.2μ A. It has been applied in batches to the heart rate and blood oxygen sensor circuits of many high-end smartwatches, achieving precise signal collection without attenuation or interference.

The response time of all devices is less than 1ns, which can quickly clamp ESD transient pulses and effectively protect the back-end IC.

3、High reliability meeting IEC61000-4-2 standard

The 0201 series ESD devices of Leiditech Electronic fully comply with the IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 standard (±8kV contact discharge / ±15kV air discharge), and have passed 1000 ESD pulse tests. There is no performance degradation, low leakage current remains stable, and no drift phenomenon, meeting the reliability requirements of consumer electronics.
