MPPT photovoltaic control system interface protection
MPPT Photovoltaic Control System Interface Protection
1、 What is MPPT
MPPT is the abbreviation of Maximum Power Point Tracking, and its Chinese name is Maximum power point tracking technology. It is an important control technology in solar panel photovoltaic power generation systems, used to improve the conversion efficiency and output power of solar panels.
In the process of solar panel power generation, the output voltage and current of the solar panel will also change with changes in environmental factors such as solar angle, sunlight intensity, and temperature. The output power of a solar panel depends on the product of output voltage and current. Therefore, when the intensity of sunlight changes, it is necessary to adjust the working state of the solar panel in real-time according to the current working state to maintain the maximum output power.
The MPPT controller achieves precise tracking of the maximum power point of the solar panel by intelligently adjusting the current and voltage of the solar panel. This technology can effectively improve the conversion efficiency of solar panels, with an efficiency increase of 20% -30%. At the same time, it improves the power generation capacity and system operation stability of solar panels, and is widely used in solar panel power generation systems and other new energy power supply systems.
2、 The interface diagram of the MPPT control system is as follows:

Shanghai Leiditech has compiled the commonly used interface names for MPPT controllers, as follows:
1. Input power interface: used to connect solar panels and controllers. Generally, DC input is common, including 12V, 24V, 48V, and so on
2. Output load interface: used to connect DC loads or battery packs, and output MPPT adjusted electrical energy to the load or battery.
3. LCD display screen: With a menu and graphical interface, it can be used to display information such as power, voltage, current, event logs, system status, etc. It can also be configured and set.
4. RS485 interface: used for communication with other devices, such as data exchange, centralized monitoring, remote control, etc. between multiple MPPT controllers.
5. Ethemet Ethernet interface: used to connect to a local area network or the internet for remote control, data upload, and other functions.
6. CAN interface: A communication bus based on the Controller Area Network, used to communicate with other devices, such as battery packs, inverters, etc. It can integrate multiple devices to form a complete solar power plant system.
7. USB interface: used to connect computers or other USB terminal devices, achieving functions such as data transmission and program updates.
8. RS232 interface: used for communication with other devices, such as data exchange, centralized monitoring, remote control, etc. between multiple MPPT controllers.
