1、 Overview of the plan:
Seat ventilation is a "heat protection device" for car seat air conditioning. Although automatic air conditioning can maintain a constant temperature inside the car in summer, due to the close contact between the passenger's body and seat, the air in contact is not ventilated, which is not conducive to sweat elimination and can make people feel uncomfortable. The unique ventilation and circulation system of seat ventilation and air conditioning continuously flows fresh air out of the small holes on the seat cushion and backrest, preventing sweat accumulation on the buttocks and back, providing a comfortable riding environment, effectively improving the air circulation environment between the human body and the seat surface. Even if sitting for a long time, the contact surface between the body and the seat will still be dry and comfortable.
A total of nine axial flow fans in the seat ventilation are integrated into the high-quality foam padding in the seat: four in the backrest and five in the seat. The fan draws fresh cabin air into the seat and guides it through the breathable middle layer, evenly distributing the air throughout the entire seat area. The special perforations in the interior allow air to pass through the leather, keeping sweating at a minimum level. Different models can use a control device on the center console or the seat itself to control the three speed fan accordingly. The highest fan speed can immediately cool the seats heated by direct sunlight, ensuring comfort even during summer.
Seat heating, on the other hand, utilizes electric heating wires inside the seat to heat the interior of the seat and transmit heat to the occupants through heat transfer, improving the discomfort caused by the seat being too cold after prolonged parking in winter.
The basic structure of a seat heater is: the lower layer is a layer of non-woven fabric, and the heating wires are arranged on the non-woven fabric. The heating wires are fixed on the non-woven fabric with fixed tape, and the knitted fabric is covered on the fixed tape. The shape similar to the seat heating point is sewn with knitted thread and sewn inside the seat cover. In order to improve the comfort of passengers in the car and control the seat heating temperature within a certain range, two temperature controllers are installed inside the seat heating pad: (1) 50 ± 5 ℃ disconnected and 30 ± 5 ℃ connected; (2) Disconnect at 43 ± 5 ℃ and connect at 23 ± 5 ℃. The backrest heater is connected to the power supply of the seat cushion heater through a connector, and the power supply of the seat cushion heater is connected to the instrument panel wiring harness through the connector. It is then connected to the battery power supply through the seat heating switch, fuse, and ignition switch.
2、 The difference between seat heating and ventilation:
Seat heating and seat ventilation are two different functions. A heating device has been added to the seat for heating. Especially in winter, when we sit in a car with heated seats on, we can feel the warmth and comfort of the seats, without feeling chilly. Seat ventilation is a unique ventilation and circulation device that can replace fresh air and prevent sweating during sitting, affecting comfort.
In general, most people prefer the function of seat heating. Because if the car is equipped with cold air conditioning in the summer, it doesn't actually cause a lot of sweating, so seat ventilation can only serve as an auxiliary function, but it won't play a major role.
But the heating of the seats is different. In winter, although the air conditioning heating function is turned on, the seats cannot suddenly become warm, and it is still cold to sit on. The seat may only change after waiting for a period of time. But if the seat heating function is turned on, the seat can be quickly heated.
However, the seat heating function is generally only available on high-end models, such as high-end cars such as Audi and BMW. If we purchase a regular car, it may not have this function. However, it doesn't matter much. It can indeed increase our pleasant ride experience to some extent, but we can also make up for it with other accessories. For example, in winter, we can put plush cushions on the seats, so even if we just sit down, it won't be as cold as leather.
